How everyone uses it
At home
-
Morning routine at your child's own pace
Wake up → bathroom → get dressed → breakfast → brush teeth → out the door. Set it up once, and your child can move through the morning by checking off one card at a time, without you having to nudge them every step. Each finished card gets a 'done!' mark with a tap — small wins that build up.
-
A preview of the bedtime routine
Bedtime is when kids find it hardest to switch gears. Showing bath → pajamas → brush teeth → storybook → goodnight in cards beforehand softens the 'fun time is ending' shock. Many parents say resistance to getting into bed drops once their child can see 'after the storybook, it's time to sleep.'
-
Show '○ minutes left' on a visual timer
For kids who struggle with transitions, a visible timer works wonders. Pull one up from the button at the bottom right of the schedule screen, or from any card's detail screen. Each card remembers the time you set last, so there's nothing to re-enter. Watching the time count down on screen makes transitions far smoother than just hearing 'five more minutes.'
-
Make custom cards for your child
'My child only accepts this specific character' or 'their favorite toy they always play with' — for anything that isn't in the built-in set, just snap a photo and turn it into an original card. Family members and familiar places can become cards too, so you can build a communication tool that's truly one of a kind.
In support settings
-
Save separate data for each child
Individualized support plans have different goals for each child. Esilbe lets you save unlimited sets, named by child, so 'A's language practice set' and 'B's self-care set' live side by side. 'For that child, in that order' stays on record, which makes handoffs between staff smooth too.
-
Print as physical cards
Print cards out, cut them, and laminate them to get PECS-style physical cards you can hand over. Stick magnets on the back to arrange them on a whiteboard, or carry them when you go out — the same cards work off-screen too.
